I have no powerlock at the moment,but the new designed one really attracts me.compared with tti,is it strong enough.

I would say that really all depends on your application, or your definition of the word "strong."  Both are more than capable of handling day to day jobs, but the PowerLock is a heavy duty tool, while the Charge is really more of a standard type tool.  I would say that because of that, the PowerLock is probably the stronger tool, but the reality is, you'd be hard pressed to push either to the breaking point.

I broke an old wave. the tip came of the plier but the charge has been much tougher. both are tough.
