The Wenger Tahara stamp phased out around 1942 according to our friend JC, that being said, this knife is perplexing to me considering the materials used and how solid it is compared to other SAKs I've seen and own of that period.

It has zero age marks on the scales and what not, the blade has been slightly sharpened, I plan on polishing once I gather more info on method and product, and practice some.

The springs are extremely strong and the brass liners and blade stops are very thick. The scales are stainless steel?, with flush exposed riveting. I really want to know more about this knife, google yields nothing.

Interesting transitional Wenger Highlander. The tang is Wengerinox, the swiss cross is an inlay but similar to the modern one. The can opener has a pending patent and the nail file is extremely aggressive and has a sharp point.

One of these days I'll participate in Wenger Wednesday. It will almost certainly be accidental considering my record so far...
