Currently i have these 2 models for sale in the Netherlands, an LB1 small folder and a Little Finger. Both are early US made models and never used (new old stock)
The good thing about Old Timers is that they were a very common knife that was produced in the millions. As a result, the genuine Schrade (not the Taylor crap) can still be found at reasonable prices, although the prices have went up after Schrade closed.Try searching for "Schrade USA" and you will find some of what you are looking for. Note that some sellers will be crafty and try to incorporate "USA" in their listings even though they are selling the Chinese imitations. The Taylor Chinese versions just say "Schrade" on the tang stamp versus the "Schrade NY USA" or "Schrade USA" markings that you will find on the genuine Schrade knives. Just make sure you can see the "USA" on the tang stamp and you should be good.p.s. - The scales that you refer to are called Delrin. It was a durable synthetic material invented by DuPont, I believe, that was used on many of the Schrade knives.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
