bed rest
on: June 18, 2014, 10:08:13 PM
Got rear ended by a drunk driver that was doing 95-100mph... So sitting here drugged up on bed rest wondering what to do.

have 3 waves
a black rebar
a fuse
a charge tti
a pst
and a micra..

2 of the waves are totally modded and I have no more ideas for them.

Any one have any cool ideas?

mods ive done so far..
s30v
gut hook
rebar pliers
rebar awl
removed small bit driver so i could keep scissors since the eye glass screw works just fine in a different spot
made a pry bar and paint scraper thing out of the large flat bladed bit
used it for awhile  as above and tore it all apart yesterday to clean/oil and re loctite it...

will be doing the same on my bo wave and my charge tti once i find parts...

Willing to try cool ideas, willing to sell/trade things.. Need something to do as I have another week or two left on bed rest at a minimum.

I know your feeling, having been drugged up pretty good one time.

Drugs + Boredom = Lots of Potential to summon the ghost of Murphy!  :ahhh

Luckily I just painted a lot of smurf back then and did not handle sharp implements. I would advise you to make some sketches/notes and start the modding when you're sober.

Get well soon!  :tu:

Edit: Found some spelling laying around. Thought I might add it here ;)

Skinny mod, bluntnose, 90° tool stops, super polished finish...

Check this out for more inspiration or somewhere to post pics when you're done.

All the best for your recovery mate.

Sounds like a great lot of tool. Yea, any meds or drinking don't go well with bidding, but hey screw it.  :D

What are your plans for the beat up Charge with broken blade?  :pok: Are you gonna send it in for replacement?

Don't take it apart if you plan on sending it in.  Give it a good cleaning and LM will sort you out with a new blade.

Thanks to everyone for the nice thoughts, I appreciate it. was back in the ER again last night with probably the worst pain I've ever felt. Glad I won that lot... Between my dog dying yesterday and being in so much pain on bed rest, i need something to keep me occupied!
