I don't know how long it will hold up either.  But I have used it before in a similar way on gliders.

Do you get the Plastikote aerosol paints and varnishes over there?

I used it on a few SAK scales and it seems to hold up pretty well.
I used to come here a lot.

if it was allowed to soak into the wood, the cyanoacrylate should be really quite strong.

Not used it myself but I've heard of many others using superglue like this with good results :tu:

I really need to try and do some wood scales of my own. I've got some nice ones that DaveK did (on a Climber) and they are very nice, but I'm thinking I might like some on a one or two layer SAK for some reason.
