I've been carrying a tinker for 20+ years, and it wasn't until I made these scales that I realized that one end of the knife is bigger than the other end!

Oh nice. I must try that - the difference it makes is quite dramatic.

Did you use a chisel to cut the cross, and if so, what size was it?

Sorry for all the questions, but this is something I've been trying to do for a while :)
