I called it The Inspecting Golfer When I'm asked to make a mod for someone else I always use new or mint parts (unless vintage bits are required) but when building for myself to play with "good used" will suffice and if you look at the back, the liners give this away.(Image removed from quote.)Why did I make it? Well it was part of my ongoing experimentation to find the ideal IT SAK. This isn't it but its a pretty good tool combination, even if I say so myself (Image removed from quote.)
stop posting saks you thats another one i like
Here's another one. My old Huntsman has new wooden scales. (Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Nice Ben. I'm guessing you like the Phillips rather than the corkscrew then?
What wood is that, and what kind of stain/finish did you use?
The clip is attached to to the scale. I make the holes in the scales a little small and take my time making the threads then i counter sink the back side of the holes. I attach the clip using J-B Weld under the clip, on the threads and on the counter sunk areas on the back of the holes. The clip is very sturdy.Mike
