Just a teaser. How to integrate a wenger wrench with a watch opener using an old scissor backspring (modified) and a stopper at the fourth pin.

That's an easy one. Just an Eco Vic Huntsman with nail file in the hook from a Compact. Some pictures without the scales.

Thanks again to Syph007 for the piece!

A Cyber-Watch-Explorer with

- Watchmaker tool instead of small blade
- Cybertool bit driver
- long nail file (!!!!!!)
- Ebony Plus scales, treated with "Hartöl"
- the newest mag glass (with real glas lens)
- the older phillips (but not the very old)

Basically it's an Explorer with additional Cybertool. The toolset was chosen by my father. It's his birthday-present.

Any problems adding the long nailfile (especially the pivot)?

Actually no. The pivot (we are speaking of the 5th one, right?) was very tight and hold together the two liners of the long nail file. So instead of removing the pivot and making a new one I let the liners together and transferred them to the new knife. Adding the very strange backspring and scissor was not that difficult. But you have to use some force. :-)

The really ugly part was, that I had to cut something out of the liners of the LNF. Because the Cybertool driver was very next to it... And such a LNF is quite expensive, I had a little fear destroying something (I bought two climbers with LNF from a german shop... they are sold out btw).

Some days ago I received an old Fisherman. I posted it here

I sent it to Victorinox. And it was very nice, indeed. But I felt, that this was the perfect base for my personal beast.

I already had a working knife (base was a swisschamp; added cybertool, watch opener and LED; look at the first pic)

But I allways liked the old blades and of course the old awl. The corkscrew I never used, so I replaced it with an old phillips. This has a small nail file. Hmm this was cute an rough, but I allways liked a long nailfile too. So I added it too.

I had an old small blade. So what about the watch opener now? Well as I was allways jealous about the universal wrench of my girlfriends knife, I added a universal wrench/watch opener layer.

I think that was all. Sorry for talking so much. I hope you enjoy the pics.

Oh, there is one more thing:
Of course it has custom scales, too. Buffalo horn scales with plus tools. :)
I just smurfed up two pins, I'm afraid. ;)

Thx Terry and Patrick.  :)

But this last mod was the most expensive I've done so far. Just keep in mind:
- a 1960s Fisherman which was repaired at Victorinox (for outer tools)
- a Cybertool (for Cybertool bit driver)
- a Watchmaker knife (for watch opener which was peanuts afterall)
- a Climber with Long nail file which I took apart
- a new Swisschamp
- a Spartan with LED
- one Wenger with Universal wrench
- my work hours for custom horn scales....

And this just for having something unique... oh my....  :ahhh  :twak:

Here is my last Mod: Victorinox Green Micarta Clipper with brushed micarta scales on red fiber base to emphasize the tool-character of the knife.

Best regards

Too bad only the models with backtools rest properly on the Stand.

The slot for the awl fits perfectly, although it shows the "backside" without the cross off.
