I always have my CS Recon 1 and Fenix PD32 with my Rebar. That's my normal work carry and EDC. I also have a LM Micra on my keys.

My standard EDC items are Squirt ES4(saved the day and awed many with this little guy), Victorinox Signature Light(Also an extremely useful and underrated little tool) and LED Lenser M5

When I rotate my main tool it goes something like this:
Wave, Vic Tinker Small/Climber
Surge, Tinker Small
Rebar, Climber/Micra
Supertool, Climber/Micra
I really wanted to get a Vic Compact to go with my Supertool and Rebar but I can't seem to justify the price to functionality of the knife.

I'm planning on getting MUT and OHT so the only SAK I think would go with those two would be a Ranger, would also be useful with my Skele and Freestlye CX.

Vic Compact, which gets much more use than my Rebar... So I think my Leatherman rides shotgun to my Vic. :) Add a e4 Squirt, Pocketwrench, bit driver and usually a CRKT Minimalist (yes, I've retired my folder except when I'm at work) when I don't have a larger fixed blade.

And yes, I carry a lot of knives. To answer the question, enough to make a point!

Compact for me as well (with phillips in place of the corkscrew).  Most days it's paired with a Squirt, and Rebar in the bag.

I always have either a PST or a Original Wave on me.  If it is not on my person they will always be in my gear bag.

I am usually carrying a Rebar these days.

Like many here, I believe that nothing pairs to a LM like a Vic. And also like many here, I find that nothing gets along better with a Rebar than a Compact.

I also carry the bit adapter and bits.

I have to have my 6" Craftsman adjustable wrench because pliers don't belong on bolts or nuts unless it is an emergency or a tear out.

In recent years I have taken to keeping a fixed blade on me daily. So my Rebar has a final companion in a Mora. Literally. A black Mora Companion.

So that's:

Rebar
Compact
Adapter and bits
Adjustable Wrench 6"
Mora Companion

This is the lightest version I have carried of this combination of tools and I see no compromise in capability. I do sometimes swap things around.. ST300.. Mora Bushcraft Black.. Spirit.. PST.. Syph SAK..

But for the multi, SAK, bits, wrench, fixed set up, this specific set is the winner for low weight and high function. Highly recommended.

Lately it has been a Leatherman Charge Ti in one of the vertical pockets on my 5.11 TacLite Pro pants, and a Victorinox Manager for the pen, mini phillips, Sheeple-friendly blade and more precise scissors.

  • You're amongst friends.
As discussed in other threads, I had decided on an Explorer to compliment my Rebar but then I received a 91 si so now that resides in my pocket ready for cutting duty. It has a very capable blade and is so compact it's hardly noticeable.

On other occasions, I also carry my Style CS but that is a much shorter blade leaving me with only the Rebar's blade which takes quite a many steps to render it useful. Although I have my Rambler's scissors, I consider that I may need something bigger like of the CS or a 91mm set of scissors.

I thought about having the 91 si modded to take scissors but then it would be so much thicker, and I would undoubtedly lose my hollow rivet  >:(

So it leads me back to my 91 SI, a Rebar and a Rambler for EDC.
