spy capsules?
on: December 31, 2009, 08:56:56 PM
I have seen these mentioned a few times on the forum, but I don't have a clue where to get them from.  I checked dealextreme (it seemed like the sort of thing they would sell) but came up empty handed.  So, where do you guys buy all these things from?

http://edcdepot.com/ our banner advertiser gives one out for free with every order, and has them for sale in different sizes  There are plenty of other merchants selling them, even made of Ti (titanium), but for much more $$$

I made a pill holder from a Maglite Solitaire flashlight body and tailcap.  Just replace the bezel with a soft plastic cap.

Magnus, EDCDepot is the best place to get them but if you prefer to shop elsewhere, DX has this:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.27551

Lee Valley has similar ones as well:

Have a look around in a Pharmacy for keyring pill cases. I have some that are made of stainless steel with an inner vial for Nitro tabs...if you leave the vial out they will hold standard size tablets.

I have bought from this seller before and recommend
http://shop.ebay.co.uk/montana_inc_uk/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Alternatively if you search ebay using Pill Holder rather than Spy Capsule you will get more results :D

I have also seen these in Cotswold Outdoor shops.

Highly recommend these; don't know how I did without them  :)

I got the True Utility Tele Pen for £7; it's kinda like an Inka Pen on a budget :D Weighs nothing and is always there :D

Anyway back to capsules... i thought the True Utility capsules were a bit on the big side.

I wouldn't recommend it tbh. Not very good!

EDIT: I've just had another look at mine and it's not that bad.

PM me your address - you can have this one.

We all know that a TARDIS is sci fi mumbo jumbo, and suggesting it just makes you look silly.  What you really need is a subspace pocket that allows you to store things in a proprietary alternate dimension....  :D
