Joking aside, I can't imagine the grater actually work on anything other than mushroom. I had a stanley surform which is a much heavier duty version of this, and it barely bites into hardwood, and this thing is literally the same stamped sheet metal like cheese grater.

Syph007, it does work on cheese. Sucks at wood, but that is no surprise.
