     I just noticed where Huntsman asked a Trooper question.  Yes, I EDC the Trooper and have for more than 40 years now.  Using the combo tool is no problem at all since the force is vectored such that closing the saw isn't likely.  The screwdriver is something else.  Since you usually push down on the screwdriver, the saw is very dangerous.  I have had it close, and partially close several times when using the screwdriver.  My knife never had one of those clip-on guards.  I have gotten more nicks from the saw than from any other tool on the knife.  The springs on these knives are stronger than say the usual 91mm SAK.  That helps with preventing accidental closure a little.  Best wishes.  Gary
