Stupid suggestion but it's worked for me.I've used a fat pencil with eraser to hold smooth pivot bolts so I could lose them . Also Heat the fastener up so the lock tight will break free. Also also red lock tight might hold the stripped clip screw . Put it in with a good amount lock tight and let it dry over night. It might hold.
