many of our members have had a rough year, operations, pains, knee and back problems, some real ouchies!
I can't find all the "fun" you've all posted and I was wondering how you guys are doing.

so I thought I'd start a thread on boo-boos  :P

Let's hear how your doing and post any new pains, sorta a drive by the accident thread :twak:
I hope your all doing better and recovering, and feeling much better.

ooh and ive suffered from grade 3 migraine for 20 years now 8)

this is about 15 mins after i my leg went 180 degrees around, and after paramedicks forced it back.after that pic it quickly got so swollen i couldnt walk for two weeks, some fluid got into cap or somethin like that.

I had thought about starting a 'Winge thread'' :D

The fact is, despite having nothing majorly wrong with me, by body feels pretty toasted for a 31 year old ::)

I've got a lot of pain from my left foot, and from the scar tissue in my chest, which plays up whenever I lift anything heavier than 25kg ::)

But the things I ''suffer'' from, the things that make life a wee bit difficult are my Dyspraxia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyspraxia and my OAD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King-Kopetzky_syndrome

Insomnia's a good one too :D

Other than that I'm peachy :D

I've had 7 bike accidents (I'm a slow learner :D) but only two biggish ones, The first one I went into a crash barrier foot first, and that wrecked my left foot, the second one was a quite a bit worse in that I got high sided off a 600cc and broke a load of ribs, which would have been fine if they hadn't have tried to make a bid for freedom over my sturnum first, hence all the internal scare tissue ::)

All the other broken bones we're from stupid brawling :D

Mikko, you are a doctors dream you probably put one year worth of business to a doctor on just a few months  :D
Me crashed my scooter on a wall at about 35 to 40 mph awhile back, side effects included some memory lost, poor sometimes short sometimes long term memories but other than that think I'm good.

Well I shattered my ankle in the military in 1991. I had pins and plates put in, it got to where I could predict the weather with how they hurt so had the metal taken out in 1994.

I've also got 4 bad disks in my back. Now my lower back problems are causing sciatica to go down my legs. The bad news is my doctor says as of right now there's nothing surgically they can do. Some of the blame might be blamed on a slight limp I've had over the years but it's impossible to tell for sure.

I've had 6(or so) shoulder dislocations, and mine usually take 2-3 people to get my shoulder back in socket. I can't just bang my shoulder on something like Mel Gibson did in Lethal Weapon. 4 shoulder surgeries. Some nerve damage. All kinds of screws and pins in there.

Banged myself with a LM tool really hard on the edge of my eye in 1996. It didn't hit my eyeball but cracked the socket. Tore the retina. Had laser surgery to fix that but now have a LOT of floaters in my vision. It's gotten worse the last couple of years so no more driving at night or shooting.

I had acid reflux surgery in 2001. Instead of being able to do it simply by laproscope they had to come in my side, cut a rib out, deflate a lung and basically wrap my stomach around my esophagus. LOTS of staples and metal in there from that one.

I had a cancerous kidney removed last year. The incision they made didn't heal quite right so that cause a big quadruple hernia. They went back in and now I basically have a mesh covering my entire abdominal area. Quite painful healing but at least no more hernias. Also had a double hernia fixed a couple of years ago.

Also a couple of years ago I had an infection under my arm. It was about the size of a tennis ball but they removed it. NO after effects but cool looking scars.

And of course I've had the usual broken ribs and fingers that most active men have had.

I also have arthritis everywhere.
