Well i'm back home Didn't manage to make it the whole way, the weather was against us from the off Set of at 5:30am with a huge headwind, then it started raining about 1hr later and never stopped We gave up at Hexham which was about 2/3rds of the way there, a couple of the group members weren't feeling great and the thought of another few hours cycling in the rain wasn't particularly thrilling! And to top it all off the trains from Hexham to Newcastle weren't running (due to the weather!) so we had to call out parents/friends to come and collect us

It's ok i have friends in Hexham i could have stayed with

And it really did go against us Cycling through a couple of inches of water at times And then getting covered in spray by lorries flying past, not fun at all
