I'm in fairly good shape for a 36 year old, I guess.  I am stronger than I've been in my life since I started lifting weights 4 times a week about a year ago.  I need to get back on the bike and work on my cardio strength though.

I broke my ankle on March 7th of this year.  It was a bimalleolar fracture that required a 5" long plate w/five screws on my fibula and two long screws up through the bottom of my tibia.  I was on crutches for about 8 weeks total.  I'm still not 100%, but very close.  I have a bit more to go with strength and range of motion.  Riding a bicycle will help with this dramatically--I just need to set aside some time.

The only other surgery I've had was for an abdominal hernia back in 2001 or so.  They put the mesh in and I haven't had any issues since.

I have some rotator cuff issues in my right shoulder, and I have to take Nexium for acid reflux, but that's about the extent of my problems.

LOL!

Honestly, I go to the gym for about two hours in the early morning.. I usually go 6-8.. I run for on the treadmill for about a half an hour, than I deadlift, then I benchpress, then I do push downs, and lastly I do a few sets of power cleans!

When I first started dating my wife she thought I was a hypochondriac when I told her about my medical problems. Now she wishes I was one. Imaginary problems would be cheaper to deal with.  :D

Well I shattered my ankle in the military in 1991. I had pins and plates put in, it got to where I could predict the weather with how they hurt so had the metal taken out in 1994.
I hope you got a VA disability for that, and are using the VA for some of the other problems. :salute:

PS:Thanks for your service!!!

Yea, I get a little money(very little) from VA every month. Plus I get to use the VA hospital. Sometimes that's a blessing, sometimes...not so much.  :D :D
