The first in trilogy is very disappointing that's for sure, second is okay, but from the previews there are enough ass kicking in the 3rd to be good.  :D

I guess that members from New Zealand should be blamed for this situation.

And who makes coffee and food for producers, directors and casts, who provides bed and services in situ, NZ. :)

A friend of mine was given a Hobbit crew jacket by her best friend - she worked as a costume maker on LOTR and the Hobbit.

It was a red checked lumberjack coat with Smaug embroidered on the back, and my friend used it for dog walking etc. She hates dragons so used a sharpie to cover the Smaug design.

back from the movie, I liked it, I think I liked it best of the three, why? not so loud! not so "matrix/jedi/not as much; "more action-more action" as the last ones (no wonder the kiddies didn't like it).

sure it was over the top and changed from the books, but I knew it was going to be so I guess I was more prepared and I can live with the changes, creative licensing I guess. I liked the battles and the darkness of it (greed and loyalties) and I had fun.

2 thumbs up from me

judge others by how they treat those they are allowed to mistreat

I liked too, my wife was bored. So long and it ended somewhat abruptly as if they cut material.
