2015- What would you like from MTO this year?
on: January 20, 2015, 03:04:13 PM
Title says it all- I am looking for YOUR feedback on what we can do to make this site better and more interesting for YOU.  What do you think we can do that will make Multitool.org a better place?

While I can't say we will make all the changes folks want, I can promise that we will give each and every suggestion our full attention.

So, what can Multitool.org do for you?

This place is pretty freakin' great, so I can't think of anything at the moment that is really necessary to improve it   Just keep up the good work, which I know you and the mods/admin team will do :tu:

I really like the forum. Out of my 7 forums THIS one is my favorite, everyone is pretty much always positive. Which is the #1 achevievment in my book.

The only thing I'd like to see is maybe a like button, which we have discussed before.

But maybe one that only has the # of likes instead of everyone who liked it. (The OP or comment creator could see who, but not everyone, just too distracting)

Plus, I know all of you will make it some type of competition

There is one thing i have on my wishlist for every forum i visit ..... but it´s never there, so i assume it´s technical not to handle ......

Each of my hobbys has in its forum next to the many threads i like to read also a handfull (or more) threads i´m just not interested in.

So it would be great to be able to mark those threads "as read" for all the time (unless i decide to change it back), so they are listed as usual in the forum, but don´t show up when i click on "show unread topics", no matter if they have new and unread posts or not - they just don´t show up cause they are marked as read permanently. It would improve my oversight on what i want to read greatly, and i could make my decision on each thread according to my mood.

 :gimme:
Have fun.

Bye,
Michael

I'm a big believer in evolution- we may be the best today, but tomorrow that could change.  We only stay the best by trying to be that much better today than we were yesterday.

We have a few projects in the works, and a couple of things to get off the ground, but I want to know what you all want, and it doesn't have to be site specific.  Do you want more MTO products?  If so, what would you like?

Let your imaginations run wild!

I belong to a forum which has a "Member's Map". Each member is plotted on the map via the location provided on sign up. The location can be as ambiguous as County, Region etc. and not specific addresses.

This info is very helpful for trading, buying, selling etc. and also shows members who is in close proximity to themselves.

The forum which uses this map is world wide in scope and provides interesting conversations between members.

Just my 2 cents.

Oooooh that map would be awesome.

I could always use more multitool.org stickers as well

I'm not sure on copyright laws, but it'd be cool if you could incorporate all the brands logo into the word "multitool.org"

Still thinking about some really sexy MTO Plus scales (maybe transparent orange, or Onyx, or brass...) something that is useful for everyone, unique and affordable...

There is place to make your own designs. (anyone whom remembers this company name please remind me). You give them 3D desing, and they make it for you. You can leave desing publick, and people can buy it from them. Maybe we could use this service for like copper scales... I think mr Metropolicity used their services sometimes...

If babes and beer are impossible, you might offer highly sophisticated female Russian scientists and engineers in their twenties for in depth discussions about hot topics on life, universe and everything, and also Drambuie with Chivas Regal also known as Rusty Nail (alternative: Screwdriver) , which is always on topic in this forum. This would lift off the forum as the one of the highest quality and ahead of its time, going forward in the 21st century.

It would be nice to be able to quote multiple responses individually in a reply. In the other few forums I belong to (guitar related) they have this feature and it comes in handy when you want to address more than one reply individually.

looks like this... notice the "+ next to quote

Thanks to digital remastering and Disney the dark side has become quite colorful. Also, it has been ruled as unhealthy so the dark side no longer has cookies but they have veggies.
