Now I know I getting OLD!!!
on: April 07, 2015, 03:50:37 PM
Lately instead of carry a trusty SAK or Leatherman  I've been carrying 1-2 stag/bone handle Case knives.  You know, the 1 & 2 bladed types that Dad and Grandpa carried.  And I've been getting this uncontrollable urge to keep them on me at all times.  So far, they seam to be handling all my knife needs
Due to this, I've been debating about graduating up to GEC(Great Eastern Cutlery) and acquiring their Northfield and/or Tibidoute brand.

Anybody have any experiences with these knives?  Good or bad??

I like them a lot, but I miss the utility of a sak too much to just edc one on its own :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I carry a slipjoint and a SAK.  The SAK is mostly for the tools.  There's just something about traditionals I love.....
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

Or the"Viper"

I love my Northwoods stockman.

If I need tools, I have a few in my wallet. The P-38 deals with can, and the Sears 4-way keychain screw driver deals with flat and phillips screws as well as opens bottles. But bottles can also be opened with a house key.

Don't get too serious, just enough will do.
