Northam's Scissor Sharpener
on: April 11, 2015, 02:08:43 PM
I was doing a little research, and ran across this advertisement from 1909.  It shows an interesting multitool.  It is, as one would assume a scissor sharpener, a fold out screwdriver, and much to my delight, a corkscrew.

I have yet to find an example of this, and figured I would see if anyone else has run across one.  According to the ad, they sold over 1,000 of them in Wilmington!

Do you have Northam's patent?  I would happily make a trade for it!

always buying, selling, trading, and very often using antique and vintage corkscrews

Howdy Josef! I've never seen that one before either. But then again, I've never been to Wilmington :D
In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools
