The kid in me hopes this is going to take off and be popular. They are going to need a bottling company to get behind this.

Interesting.

I really only see that being successful if Coke and/or Pepsi adopt them. Without one or the other I just don't see them getting very far.

Around here we pay a $.10 deposit on bottles when we buy them and get $.05 back when we recycle them. The recycle depot gets the other five cents. When you recycle them they aren't supposed to have caps on them which often seemed pointless to me, so having a use for caps is a good idea.
