Hi Everybody

I'm trying to ID a knife, not mine and I forgot to take pics...  :facepalm:

Comes in a funky traditional (I guess) leather sheath, brass bolsters and butt with a black plastic (I think) handle over the obvious rat tail tang.

The handle is shaped exactly like the current Finn Bear, seen from behind a diamond with extended lower half....

Asking got the google-juice flowing, realized it's a Puukko style blade and then it didn't take long:

Hackman Finland Tapio Wirkkala Puukko Knife

The old amn it belongs to has a beater, the one I saw, and apparently a brand new one as well....  >:D :angel:

IIRC the story right the Cold Steel is based on a very specific Finnish Puukko, that grip cross-section being distinctive and not used by other makers.
