Update opinion since my last post on this issue.

Since than I got a Spydie Tenacious and fell in love with it so bad I also got a Paramilitary 2 and a Dragonfly ZDP, selling all my Leathermans and Gerbers to get thepennies for them... you make what you want of it, but these things do have a magic, great looks, perfect locking, top materials and the best ergonomics I've ever seen...

Just get a Paramilitary 2 or a Manix 2, play with it for a bit and you'll understand what's with all the Spydie fuss...

I'm glad you've found something you like mate  :tu: it,s a great feeling when you get a passion for stuff  :D However, I can guarantee that if I had any of those knives you mentioned, they'd either be moved on, or spend their days in the back of a drawer. The joy for those knives isn't universal, and for me. (and it appears for some other people too) it would be a huge waste of money   :salute:

You might be right mate... I might end up being very dissapointed in them.. I mean I only saw them on Youtube and in photos... I only handled my Tenacious (which is like bottom-of-the-barrel-Spydie) and loved it si went with what people said (that the other not only look better, but feel better as well).
I'll come back to this after my new shinies get to me and I handle them for real... too excited now to think clear... in 6 months  when the package reaches me, I might have a different opinion...

The only thing I've always loved unwaiveringly since the first time I saw one (and never sold one that wasn't double) were the Victorinox saks...

Spydercos look funny but are (almost) always well designed for the task at hand.  I'm sure you'll get along with them just fine.
