Introducing the new Multitool.org Charter Member account!

I want to take a moment to announce a new happening here at Multitool.org- the Charter Member account. This is basically a paid membership to the site, which allows you greater access to all the goodies and goings on around here. Charter Members will receive as part of their membership package, the above metal lapel pin, and a Multitool.org branded screwdriver bit set! Unfortunately, these aren't in yet, so I can't provide a photo, but I will as soon as they arrive! Charter Members will also have access to a special forum for announcements and services offered specifically to them, like discounts on Multitool.org merchandise and first crack at limited runs of... well, pretty much anything we come up with to do!

Unlike other forums however, paid members will not be given preferential treatment on the forum- everyone's opinion is, and always will be valued! Paid members will simply have the pride in being able to show how much they appreciate this site!

So what will the funding go to? Well, as you've seen, we have some major overhauling in the works, and we've also got many ideas for future projects, add-ons, and all manner of things both on and off the forum. And contests, giveaways etc... and there may even be something a little more tangible to send out too, but I'm not going to say too much about that yet! Suffice it to say, while all members will benefit from the support of Charter Members, the guys who show their support will get first look at anything we come out with!

Membership is set at $30/year, Paypal (admin@def-it.com) is preferable, or you can PM or email me for alternate arrangements. If you have any questions, there's no time like the present! It's been a heck of a week, so I've probably forgotten a lot of the stuff involved, so take a moment and let fly!

Well they are pretty well the same at the moment, but it's US dollars. I usually quote in US dollars as that's what more folks are familiar with!

$30 is the price- and that will include shipping to anywhere there's a post office!

We already have a Charter Member forum, but only Charter Members have access to it. That's where all the announcements will be made concerning Charter Members.

I had a dream that a man with gloves & a purse came into my house to convince me to become a paid up forum-member.

Then he got a bit weird, so I searched him (& his purse) and he had no Multi, So I knew he was a phony, then I cut his fingers off.
