Thank you!  :hatsoff:

We're running out of space to house them.

My family (to include my outlaws) know I drink a lot of coffee so they gift me enough coffee cups that I have some for regular use, weekend use, Halloween use, Thanksgiving use, Christmas use, and winter use.  I think I have enough cups but the family disagrees.   :D

My wife goes through and moves mine on from time to time.  They're probably my favorite souvenir when I'm out and about

The pliers do come in handy for small things.

Thank you!   :hatsoff:

One of my favorites as my wife and the kids bought it as a Christmas gift for me a few years back.  One of one (as no two are alike) and signed by the artist on the bottom.  This one holds about 28-30oz but they do sell a smaller one.

My favorite kinds of cups.  We have a small shop that does that just down the road.

I need sip my coffee outside.  Always seems to taste better to me.

Question.  What is that filter your using with the cardboard insert?

It is a no name filter from the big river website.  They’re described as coffee paper filter hanging ear drip.   It is single use but don’t require extra equipment and produce good coffee.

@Krista - I think that's a Wenger Colonel.

@Sos24 - Thanks for the info.  I think I'm going to pick a few of those up for when we travel.

My contribution for today.

Thanks AzteCypher. It must be a variant, because this one has a philips instead of a corkscrew.

Agreed.  It could also be a variant of the Monarch with the clip point instead of the nail file.  I've run into the same issue when trying to identify my Wengers.  It's always fun trying though.  :D

Says Coffee right there.  Can't argue with that.  Tell us Cam, what is the red tool with a clip and a yellow lanyard?  I'm not so great at identifying things.  Do you use the combo stone on any knives?  I have an ancient one that I use for various things.  Sometimes I work on a kitchen knife with it.  Outdoor tools.  Stuff like that mostly. Best wishes.  Gary (IMR)

It's a very unique knife, it's generation 1 Hydra from Heretic Knives the son of the creator of the company Microtech made his own company and named it Heretic. There is alot to be said about it. First off its really cool to see USA father and son knife company. I like to think of the Microtech lineup mainly for office business carry they just look very nice. On the other hand Anthony Marfione with Heretic Knives likes to create stuff that's just crazy fantasy out of this world awesome. You cannot purchase a version 1 Hydra any longer the current iteration is at version 3 which are available at about 420 dollars to start. Now this blade deploys rapidly within the blink of an eye, and the lockup is so solid you can baton it into a stump with another stump and pull it out and she will still fire 🔥. It's an amazing single action out the front style knife. The blade is made from a super stainless steel called CPM-S35VN. If you do research into these super stainless steel, I would say this is by far the sweet spot in terms of hardness, edge retention, and rust/corrosion resistance. I've never experienced a blade so sharp. I used a work sharp precision adjust to sharpen the Tanto blade. I used a 18 degree angle for the sharpen. I used 320 grit diamond stone, 600 grit diamond stone, and then 10,000 grit ceramic stone finally finished with a leather stropping. This is the knife I would grab if smurf hits the fan. It has a reflective coated 550 paracord for the lanyard. It's tied in a Tibetan snake knot pattern. Enjoy! And side note yes i realize this is a SAK forum and I'm talking about Hydras but all is well and I apologize in advance for the interruption of beautiful SAK and coffee.... Best wishes from Cam

Side note added after the fact: the swivel safety cover is rolled titanium. The pocket clip is titanium. The charging handle is stainless steel and the body is aircraft grade aluminum. Red anodized battle worn finish

I like to use the combo stone for blades that are less in value and I use the precision machine for higher value blades.

The Hydra was the very first knife created by Heretic. This one is serial number 343.
