Gerber Tool and Washer Arrangements
on: October 29, 2015, 07:28:20 PM
Looking to reassemble some parts tools into stock versions and realized I never documented the tool and washer arrangements in the handles.

I'm looking for help in the form of pictures (preferred) or description of the tools and washer layout in each handle of the following tools:

MP600 Basic
MP600 Bladeless
MP600 Pro Scout
MP600 Sight Tool

Tool layout is identifiable from web pictures, but there are no real shots end on of the tool ends to show where the larger washer and spacers go.

Thanks in advance for your help.

NetsNJ, can you identify which ones are doubled up or a thicker spacer? It looks like there is a double spacer beside each blade.

As best I can tell it is a double washer between the file and medium slotted driver, but I am not sure.  Single washe for the rest.

Just took aa look at the file side of the MP600 Basic. Looks like the thick washer between the file and the small driver is actually THREE times the size of the thin "single" washers on the rest of the tools (second pic). First pic is "exploded" view, for posterity.
