Anti-Gravity Pen (Space Pen Wannabe)

This was at the Dollar Tree, and since it was only one dollar, I thought I would give it a chance.





I will have to test it against this real one and see if I should buy more, or just keep the dollar.



I will add more when I get this opened up and tested.

The Pen weighs 23.7 grams



and the cartridge does seem similar to a space pen's cartridge.

I picked up one of those thingies as well.  The included cartridge leaks but a Fisher space pen cartridge fits if you add a spacer of some type to the top.

seems like a hard plastic.

the ink is lighter than the space pen,  almost a dark grey instead of black

my impressions so far is that it is only about a third as good as a space pen,  but at a twentieth of the cost.   :think:

good deal, on an OK pen that has some qualities of my space pen.

Before anyone points fingers, I want to add I refuse any responsibility for anyone buying more Gerbers or digital watches.
I experienced the same effect as detron while lookig for a hint on where to have my MP 600 repaired and now look at my collection... :facepalm:
I think it is safe to do the usual here and say:
I blame Kirky.

BTW: I find the idea of the space pen great, but the bullet is to slippery for me to write comfortably. I use an Uni Ball Power Tank with pressurised ink and a good grip.

The main problem seems to be I still sell abput as many as I aquire. Which does not help in slimming down the collection...
