Couldn't pass this deal up.
This doesnt usually happen but it shows "in stock" at my local store! They have like 20 of them. Lucky for me I don't have any need for one!
I thought they were about this price all the time?
Is that American dollars?! I probably would never buy a single Leatherman if I had to pay $300 for a Wave. Just makes me want to take a trip and buy like 500 tools to sell for half of what they are charging.

Couple days ago in an outdoor shop they had a Surge for US$200.
I checked my local Home Depot store online. They claimed that my local store had 61 in stock.I took the time to travel to the store only to discover they had none in stock and the clerk was unaware of the existence of this tool. So much for the accuracy of their computerized inventory. LOL.
This happened to me when the Wingman was released. Most likely they have not set up the Christmas tool display yet and they actually do have them in the store, but they are sitting in the warehouse of the store waiting to be put out on display. They scan them when they come in, not when they get put out.

Got one today. Great deal. I wonder how they can sell them for so cheap and still make a profit?

Makes me think leatherman gets a huge profit margin at $50. They can sell them cheaper but since people will pay for the name they can hike the price up
