RUKO Survival Knife.

I found a survival knife at a local store that I didn't have.

Yep, another of those not ideal Rambo style survival knives with the hollow handle and a small survival kit hidden inside.

This one is a little different in what comes inside that handle. Instead of the usual little fishing kit, some matches, etc, you get a striker rod for starting fires, and a folded wire saw. The two split rings can be used for handle duty on the saw. There is still enough room to shove a useless micro fishing kit in there if you absolutely have to. Love the bubble style compass. Much better than the usual little dry pill style compass that usually accompanies such knives.

Is it one of the bolted mini-tang style?

Sort of foolish, but do you think they'd be any good if they were formed from one solid chunk rather than sketchily bolting it in?

Oddly enough, this is partly the reason why I collect them...because they are somewhat foolish. A big part was that I wasn't allowed to get one when I was younger and Rambo was all the rage.
