When you close or push on the back of the blade, does it contact the lock release mechanism?

As far as I can see, no it does not. The tang seems to push it down. The edge does not touch it all.

Not much again today. Been raining like crazy. But the Surge did help me with a few small projects around the house.

Cap lifter was the biggest help today.


Also used the surge to finish the mod a on my SOG Power Assist.

Working on that cast iron pot again. Should be able season it on the fire tomorrow, hopefully, if it is not raining.

I was hoping I would have been done with it by now and had some soup beans cooking in it, but what I plan and what actually happens have never been similar.
