Insane Nite Ize deal.... Maybe.

I was randomly looking on OSH's website at hardware and came across these Nite Ize ties. I don't know if its a mistake, but from reading the description you get the whole display (200 ties) for .99 cents.  Anyone going to take the plunge and order 5 to see if you get 5 displays.  :D

I´m sure if a local member orders those and REALLY gets the amount offered, it should be possible to sell the ones not needed here. I would take a few of each.

It occurred to me that these could be very handy for managing cords/cables :)

Tempting...
Anyone have experience doing business with the site? This is the first time I've ever heard of them.

Its a very large, reputable hardware store so I would say your good.

Similar to Home Depot

Guess they're not in my region, since the store locator couldn't find one within 50 miles.
Well, hopefully it's not a mistake, because I ordered 3 bins of the ties and one of the S-biners.

Well it's definitely a mistake as that is the single unit price I'm sure, but the question is will they honor what they have listed as it clearly states it comes with (X) amount of each color and is a complete display. If something else arrives I would contact them and have them honor the sale or issue a full refund with a paid return shipping label. I'm excited to see what shows up. Fingers crossed.  :tu:

Take a screen capture just incase they change it, and say it never said that.

Okay, I did a single bin of the Gear Ties (200@) with a bin (108@) S-Biners for a grand total of $15.07, including shipping.  Let's see how this goes!

What size S Biners?

Here's the desciption:
S-Biner Gravity Bin Display, 0.9 Inch Dia x 2 Inch L, Black/Stainless, 108/Bin Display.

    Size: 0.9 Inch Dia x 2 Inch L
    108 pieces per display
    Stainless steel construction
    Includes (54) SB2-03-01 black, (54) SB2-03-11 stainless #2 S-biners
    10 lb weight limit
Double-gated carabiner with multiple uses for carrying keys, water bottles, camping gear
    Not for climbing

But I will say this is turning into a bit of a strange purchase...it's now 24hrs later and I haven't received a confirmation email from OSH and my Credit Card doesn't show a charge.  I should have copied down the confirmation number when I did the transaction, but I'm pretty lazy about doing that.

Well, I take it back...the charge has shown up in my pending charges.  I'll update as I get more information.   :pok:

The charge is pending on my bank account, and I received an email informing me that my purchase is on the way.

No movement yet, but that's typical. Of note is the fact that they sent me two tracking numbers, meaning the order was sent in two parts. Which implies the items are too large to ship in one box.

Update:

The charge is still pending, and the tracking on both parcels has now updated to say "Due to operating conditions, your package may be delayed. / Delivery will be rescheduled. " According to the displayed time, this occurred one minute after the origin scan

Well, there's movement on the tracking numbers again. The parcels appear to have left home and ETA is given as Friday.
