Excited, got a special order Khukuri being made.

Well most know i love Khukuri's so been in contact with sanjay from Khukuri house,i wanted a small 5inch kuk for my backpack for bushcraft, the ones available dont have full tangs and handles are smaller,so sanjays making me a one off full tang 5inch kuk with a larger handle,im very excited  :ahhh  :ahhh i will need to sell a few things to finance it but think it will be well worth the sacrifice  :tu: pics and reviewconce i get it  :salute:

Also: "kuk" means something very different and not family friendly in Norwegian. So when I read you were getting "a one off 5inch kuk" I nearly fell of my chair laughing :rofl:

Lol so ill have a big kuk and a little kuk  :rofl:

i just love there style and history,ive wanted a more compact one for ages,i should be able to do battoning and food prep with this one,ill eventually get a new bigger kukri for chopping duties,my health hasnt been to great recently but i hope to get out in the summer for a few mtb trips camping,so hopefully give my new Khukuri a workout  :salute:

Ok I've now got 2 khukuri on there way,my 5inch blade biltong khukuri and a tribute tuljung kurung chainpure khukuri, he received a mc for fighting of Taliban just using his khukuri, here is a pic of him with his knife that now is at the winchester gurkha museum,

Here is my tribute tuljung khukuri, it's got a 15inch blade 5,5inch handle,will have his name engraved on it plus these will be numbered,mines #1  :tu:

These are awesome khukuri, craftsmanship is spot on,I can't start by telling you what a pleasure it was dealing with sanjay at khukuri house thamel,the small biltong was made just for me as wanted a solid small khukuri for camping,the other one is my #1 tuljung kurung tribute knife,it's a beast at 15inches and so thick,hope you enjoy looking at them,I'm so happy with them  :salute:
