I've seen several products awarded with the Red Dot over the years, some seemed good but most were indifferent, to me at least.

Having said that, I do own a Gardena water hose nozzle awarded with the Red Dot a few years back.



It is quite well made and it feels durable after three years of mild abuse. The trouble is I don't think it's something exceptional but rather it shows how these nozzles should be made. I could even suggest a few improvements so for me it's not perfect yet.

And the fine mist advertised? Sure, if water pressure is more than 3 bar.

A prize is only a prize...

Generally with rules, criterias and jury or judges.



Everybody has the right to criticize and to dispute a prize, a prize can seem fair or not fair... IMO it's only a help for a choice.
