 :ahhh

If they can do this, surely Robotech is due for a reboot.

They're tiny, they're tuney, they're all a little looney, and in this cartoony, they're invading your TV!

Was that 80's or 90's?

I was wondering why his cape didn't catch fire from his backpack, but it's because he's in space so no oxygen, but how does he breathe in space with no apparatus, but then I remembered it's a cartoon.

Was M.A.S.K. a bigger hit elsewhere than it was here?  I dimly remember it being popular in the playground for about a week. :D

That Voltron reboot looks excellent.  I'll have to grab my daughter and make her watch it. 8)

M.A.S.K. was pretty popular here, but not nearly on the level of GI Joe or Transformers.  Some others that were good but barely went anywhere were the Air Raiders and Visionaries.

I'm also surprised no one has mentioned another one of my favorites, Astroboy.

I used to watch it every morning before going to school.

And, in case anyone is wondering what many of their childhood favorites are doing these days, well,  be warned, this may be NSFW.

I feel a lot of those shows only existed to try and leech a portion of the income that GIJoe and Transformers toys were getting.

I recall that in spite of how popular (I felt) Robotech was, they didn't exploit the toy sales (there wasn't a whole lot available IIRC) despite the show being on tv 5-6 days a week. I remember finding a veritech model kit (VF-1S) which I got, and I had an Invid Shock Trooper... I don't remember seeing many other items, perhaps since I was busy collecting GIJOE, Transformers and Lego.  :ahhh

Invid Shock Troopers were the coolest.

If only it wasn't for the eye up front that made them vulnerable.
