Anyone else watch 'Always Sunny in Philadelphia'?

The Magentus's have been watching this on Netflix and enjoying the dark crass humour very much. Last night night though Mrs Magentus and I laughed so much we nearly did ourselves an injury. My sides and back were aching, I could hardly breathe and thought I was going to be sick.

It was the episode where Dee and Charlie have to spend some time in each others shoes. Bedtime at Charlies apartment consists of huffing glue, drinking beer and eating cat food so they can sleep through the noise of 50 cats wailing outside all night trying to get to the 10,000 rats in the apartment block.

When Danny Devito comes rushing in and without a word, downs his can of cat food and climbs into bed..... well, the man is a comedy genius.

My head was pounding I laughed so hard.

Anyone else watch and apprecite the show?

I've heard of it but never watched it.  If it's that good maybe I will have to check it out some time.

I'm binging on Brickleberry right now.  Don't judge me...

Not heard of Brickleberry - what's the shizzle?

Word of warning with IASIP - there are no taboo's, no audience surogate and no depths too low to sink to (and I live in a U Boat). It's like Seinfeld without the shame.

I watched it off and on when it first came out and for a while afterwards.  That is a funny arse show no question.  I love that no topic is off limits and the extent to which they go.  Danny DiVito is hilarious as are the other cast mates.  Pure unadulterated comedy.

I love the glory hole episode and thought about Nate as Danny Devito's character Frank decided to line the hole with duct tape 'for safety'.

Brickleberry is kind of like Yogi Bear mixed with Family Guy.  Daniel Tosh plays an orphaned bear cub being raised by a bunch of misfit park rangers at a second rate National Park.  I wouldn't suggest you let your kids watch it.

I really tried to like IASIP twice, most recently last week actually. I really liked everything up until shortly after Danny DiVito joined. The show was "uncomfortable but funny" and touched on real life situations like dysfunctional families, poverty, race and sexuality. It seemed to me that around that time the show started focus more on "uncomfortable is funny" and really started to exaggerate the character flaws of the main cast. The show just stopped being funny to me after that.

I was/am a big Seinfeld fan.  The mundane can be extraordinarily funny.  This show is funny and yes can be uncomfortable at times agreed.  I used to sit and not laugh and wonder how the heck is it still on .  Mind you I can be a SSOB so my personal idea of funny is often times kept to myself .  There was this time however in band camp  8)

I love me some David Cross!

He was great in Arrested Development. Also Will Arnett (Gob, from the same show) and Jack McBrayer (from 30 Rock) appear in this crazy comedy.
