Best fixed blade under $50
on: September 09, 2008, 01:12:28 AM
I was wondering what everyone thinks about this.  If you needed a fixed blade that could handle anyting that might come up in any given situation and you only had $50 what would you go with?

I like the Mora knife.  I know it is well under $50.  Then there is Cold Steel and I have several of their knives I guess that there is one or more that would fill this niche.

Under $50.... probably the Gerber Prodigy. I really like this knife and I think it's a great value too!  I like the Mora knives, but not really a good overall choice in the $50 range.
Sometimes change is a good thing, other times not so much!
