Ok so I'm new here, though I have always used MTO to do research on any MT prior to purchase. I'm sorry that my first post in the forum needs to be one giving negative feedback. This was on the MTO Facebook group page, and I'm not sure if this individual is a member here or not, but Grant encouraged me to post it here.

Late June J.A. Anderson posted some MTs for sale, I offered to buy a Kick off him for $40. Sent him the funds via PayPal (my mistake was using the f&f option  :facepalm:) and as of today, July 26th, a month later...nothing. He posted again giving a sob story about not having a job, etc, and how he needed funds. Just letting you know, beware!

I'm sorry to hear that man.  I have sent him a couple of messages as well, and a link to this thread.  I am hoping he will read them and do the right thing.

Meanwhile, if anyone here has a spare Kick they could help Manny out with, I'd be happy to toss in a few dollars to help cover it.

Really sorry to hear this.  JA Anderson if you made a mistake theres always time to make it right.  Send the guy what he paid for or refund.  Again its never to late to make it right.  Come on, you know no matter the excuse it aint right.  Step up and come follow thru  :salute:.   

Manny sorry about this.  Are you hard pressed for a plier based tool?  I took apart my only Kick otherwise I'd shoot it out to you.  I've also got a few bucks to help Manny out.  Anyone got a Kick just kicking around  ;).

Good on you guys to fix this little mishap. MTO rules!!!!

Not to hijack this thread. Exactly the same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. Bought a Leatherman Pulse on Gumtree (our local classifieds). And I'm still waiting for it. Text the seller and he was all calm in the beginning. Now he turned into this abusive piece of smurf. As if it's my fault now. Did a bank transfer into his account. His latest and last excuse!! Blame your mailman and see if he carries a multitool.
Did asked him for the tracking number and pictures of him sending the parcel. No luck.

So ask for pictures of the sale and postage. Hate this kind of  people who does this to peoples hard earned cash.

Wow! Thanks for the support! It really sucks when this happens, and like I told Grant, I also collect knives and have bought/sold/traded some worth far more than this and never got screwed, so I really didn't think I would get taken for $40! Oh well.

Lol thank you very much, but I have a Gerber in my truck and another in my wife's car, plus the modded Juice Steve did for me. I'm good on that end, thank you very much! No need for anyone to send anything, though I genuinely appreciate the offer! Just trying to make sure no one else gets taken! :tu:

Hopefully he comes through with the Kick :cheers: I try to always get the tracking number to anyone I am dealing with in trades to them ASAP because I know personally I like to watch stuff in tracking that I am getting and others might as well :tu:
