Fallkniven pen knife

I just saw this, and didn't see it posted here. Sorry if this is a repeat thread, though.
Looks like fallkniven is making a pen knife that is intended to be legal to carry in restrictive jurisdictions. Seems neat.

I think I have seen it mentioned in another thread, but its nice to give it its own
Its a nice looking little knife, but a bit pricey IMO for a small SAK like blade.
That beeing said, I havent tried one, so it might be fantastic.

Interesting but as Grathr said pricey. I'll stick with my Bantam

Going by the latest exchange rate that converts as;
£61.53 or $80.48
I think I'll stay with my Spartan for now.

It's a nice knife and I'm sure it's built very well, however at that price there are plenty of other more attractive looking single blade options.
I was thinking along the lines of Case or Fantoni

It looks a little too thick but other than that really nice.

I've seen a few reviews complaining about F&F, also Fällkniven has a history of soft/weak backsprings on their slipjoints, so I've personally decided I wouldn't pull the trigger till I had inspected the knife in person. (Easy enough since I'm not that tempted.

Geometry cuts but the steel determines how long.

I'll comment a little on Fallkniven because I've only handled the LTC, I do not own the LTC.
I've been using the Fallkniven PC for a while now, it's a very well built knife and light enough that you never notice it's in your pocket.
Fallkniven Lam.Cos steel is amazing, their powered 3G laminate steel on the LTC should be an amazing steel as well.
It's a steel that will require diamonds to sharpen, especially if you re-profile.
Use it for the same things you would use a Alox Solo & you'll rarely need to touch up the edge.
The LTC is left or right handed and easy to open. You can pinch it open without the nail nick. If you like nail breakers you won't like the LTC.
Kind of plain looking by design, which might be a good thing if you live a restrictive environment.
For me I've been moving away from multi blade knives after discovering many of the newer steels can work all three blades of a Case stockman into the ground.
They are not cheap but can be found for $65.00 U.S.
So whether it's worth the money depends on what you are looking for in a knife.

You all have echoed my thoughts on it. I think it looks cool, and can see the appeal and the nice steel sounds good. But at that price, a SAK is more than sufficient to me.
Does seem like it add to the variety of what out there for those who need a non-locking blade, though.
