Looks fine to me!
on: August 17, 2016, 12:16:45 AM
Someone just posted this in one of the Jeep groups I am a member of on FB.  I love it when people who have no idea what they are doing try to do stuff.....  :D

For those not familiar with the underside of cars..... that pipe that the red wire attaches to is the exhaust, and that gets very hot.  The other pipe it's attached to is the drive shafts and that tends to spin an awful lot while driving.

Neither are very good for the wire.....

That's the second time I seen that smurf. WTF is wrong with people? Oh, I get it, they were asleep in school from the meds the docs gave them to be mentally challenged and now we got more to add to the ID 10T list. Dude, you should hook that directly to your $5,000 stereo system, really, it'll kick bass so hard you'll wonder if you're not going anywhere.  :ahhh

I love seeing this kind of stuff.  It makes me feel better about my own shoddy workmanship!

Reminds me of this one, which is extra funny to me because solving these kinds of things are what kept me employed for 8 years!

Yes, I was a cargo surveyor.  My job was to ensure the proper handling and transport of some very expensive equipment.  One of these days I'll tell you a horror story of the time they loaded and electric slinky bus on a transport that wasn't equipped for it with a ramp designed for use with tractors.  That was a bit of a mess.   :ahhh

Or the time we opened a refrigerated container full of frozen dough- a week after the refrigeration unit died.   :ahhh

Or the millions of dollars of cars that hot frozen to the ground.   :ahhh

When your business revolves around incompetence and calamity you can count on lots of work for a long time.

I may or may not have been largely responsible for this.

http://www.cbc.ca/beta/news/canada/nova-scotia/bmw-and-mini-recall-linked-to-halifax-ice-storms-1.3179521

And for informing the manufacturers that it wasn't the result of the ice storms, it was the result of the incompetence of the handling facility.

And it wasn't just BMW.  Every brand in North America, domestic and imports were affected, and I documented it all.

It sounded something like cold burns to me, or rather the exact opposite of it, that I didn't know it existed.

I usually recommend going up a size in cable for long routes, but other than that, I don't see a problem.

He's even used decent UV stabilised cable ties and snipped the ends, which is a bit of a pet peeve for me.

Or one can consider it as a selfie of the monitor'd bottoms. It would prove true or false if we had an image of the monitor's screen at the same time. Who knows? It might belong to Kim Kardashian. I hope not, because we would have to pay heavyily for watching it doing nothing.
