Back with the very neat little Case Smooth Antique Bone Half Whittler (6208 SS)
That antique bone is really nice! :like:

Thanks to awl for the accolades on my little Peanut! That was my first Case knife, and I quickly came to appreciate its good looks, capability, and non-threatening nature.

The mug is a replacement for one I previously had. The lady of the house broke the old one. By pure luck, I'd placed an order from Shepherd Hills the day before, and it hadn't shipped yet. I called them and asked to have the new one added. They did, and the order shipped that day. Awlways nice to know that good customer service can still be found!

Today was more relaxed--a work from the home office day, and a bit wet outside.

Thanks GA1dad!  :hatsoff:

GEC definitely did that F&F (Farm and Field) series right, and IMO they just beg to be used hard.  I cut an old, hardened 150' hose into 5-10' sections with that sheepsfoot on Sunday and afterward a few of swipes on a fine ceramic had her shaving again.

I have a soft spot for the swayback designs that both of the above patterns fall into.  They just feel so "right" in the hand when using the typical underhand grip for chores.

I carried this '78 Small Jack for the first time today.  I'm not usually drawn to the smaller patterns, but this is a pretty sweet, capable little knife.

It's never been used, and it makes this old '72 model (me) look and feel beat to dickens in comparison.

I'm right there with you. That little jack is no more than nine months older than me, and I'm in far worse condition.

I forgot you had this one.  Clearly I didn't need to go on about the GEC F&F, because you obviously already know!

Very nice!

Don't fret Bud. You could take everything I know about GEC and pour it into a thimble,,,, and there'd still be room for an elephant left in the thimble.

Been a little bit since I posted.  Just caught up and this thread never disappoints.

Today I'm going with Case as in Copper lock and 4 dot 25 1/2.  I've been carrying the Copper lock for work and the 25 1/2 because its about the size I really like.
