Nice bone on those two!   :like:
Thanks!

I think the Barlow is Red Barnboard and not currently available.  The Copperhead, however is Rogers Corncob Jig Antique Bone, and is currently available on a number of Case patterns.

Another Queen made Whittler - a Splitback Stockman Whittler...

I don't know what to make of this knife really, I both like and dislike it in fairly equal measure.  Stevey's got a similar Winchester one, what do you make of it cuz?

I kind of have similar feelings about the Winchester. The split back spring on a serpentine frame and the spey blade is a bit oddball

I agree, part of me thinks it should one or the other. Although, I must say I do like the look of your Winchester.

Nice knife fuzzy. I like it. Course I like spey blades. Lot of of the old cutlery companies made knives like these or like GECs Stockyard Whittler or on a center swell frame. In my opinion these may have been the forerunners of modern Stockman of today. Today's three blade Stockmans are a lot easier to make than a three blade split back knife.  :D

Thank you fellas.

Its harder and harder to choose what to carry.  I know poor me .  Just yesterday I felt a strong feeling I needed to stop where I am with Trads.  Then I shook that feeling off and popped 3 into my pocket and immediately scolded myself for such thoughts.

I always liked the acorn bolster stamp on those Barlow's.  :tu:

Since winding up the "Folding Hunter Challenge" on the 30th, I have had the Schrade Walden 34OT in my pocket. It is such a great size for pocket carry. I will probably finish the work week with it. Shown with the monster truck I found while camping last weekend. It is headed for the "treasure chest" in my wife's classroom. I'm sure it will bring some young'un some happiness
