Walk through security with that, and every alarm in the place will go off.   :ahhh

It is not to hide weapons but to carry MT  and SAKs without needing a belt sheath

Pretty sure I've seen something like this before....

Oh yeah...

It may not be for carrying concealed weapons, but I guarantee you that you will really annoy someone with a metal detector as you go through each and every scrap of metal hidden in there.  I have to say this seems more like one of those Les Stroud gimmick knives than any actual functional item.

Reminds me of the "Rambo" knives from the 80's with all the crap in the hollow handle

I suppose I can see the value in it, but in a very limited fashion.

I'll wait for them to have something other than a rather annoying and stuttering video for their promotionals.

I don't know why I wouldn't just get something like this and stock it myself with whatever I feel I need, not what these guys managed to get cheap from Alibaba:

Because with the velcro you don´t need to pull out the belt (would yo do an strip tease in public?)

And you can store in it other things apart from tools or knives  :pok:

FAK, flashlight, duct tape, paracord, money, lighter...

It is an evolution of the zip belt

Yeah nah mate.

My batbelt looks a bit more like Ob1s (although so far I've resisted the urge to put a bloody great knife in it  ::) )

I don't know how to explain why I think this is silly, but I just don't see it as being useful.
Either you need this stuff, in which case you carry in sensible pouches that can hold a good variety and quantity of gear, or you don't need it.

Plus I get the feeling this would not be very comfortable.....and how adjustable is it? with most of it being taken up by doodads, how far can it be tightened?

Okay, so I actually watched the videos now - Didn't care much for SurvivalMcgee...

Or the wazoo boys really.

So, it's a belt...with a pocket in it.
Cool.

I'm not sure it's the ultimate survival doohickey.
I'm disappointed it doesn't have a better buckle system, and a loop so I can rappel out of helicopters using it.
And, despite all their imagery of kayaks, I'm not sure it's going to keep the contents dry :P

I'm okay with belts with internal storage, I really am.
But...the sales pitch makes it hard to like it.

(They also show Australian currency several times, but don't list Australia on their travels?

Maybe I'm being dramatic, but you're more likely to need to survive traveling outback australia, than walking through a european train station :P)
