Lockback to slip joint
on:

After a couple months of daily use, I can testify the SOG key knife is a great little gadget for everyday small cutting tasks.
I decided to put one on my wife keychain. Knowing her, she won't like the fact that the knife is lockable.
So with ten seconds of dermal work, I turned it from a Lockback to slip joint.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Great way to add a tool she'll use with a nice little mod.

I have these on my keyrings as well. I noticed too that they really aren't looked at too closely when passing thru a security checkpoint if I just drop my keys into the tray and toss my wallet on top. However, I would never suggest trying to disobey security regulations/ordinances that are in place for your local jurisdiction.
I left mine as a lockback though as for me, I found on such a tiny blade in a bit of an awkward "handle" the lockback feature desirable to help prevent it from closing on your finger. But that's just my preference.
They are a handy little addition and quite low cost.

Anyone got a pic with a Vic classic for size comparison?
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.

Not at the moment, here is the comparison with automobile & house keys.

Gotta try that one, it's a SOG, it's small and it's cheap, and I seem to be quite fond of small keychain blades lately
Nice mod Kampf!
