I took another of my jogging watches for a spin today.

Oh, missed my radar but I'm interested. I looked for a sturdy watch with large digits for my cycling and settled for a Lorus a year ago but this one, I think I might like it more!
Nice one.  Are you going to change straps on this one too?  Best wishes.  G
 :like:

Gary, yes the strap will get changed. The resin one isn't too bad  but every now and again I can feel it digging into my wrist.

Rodia, it is very easy to read, and I love the Knight Rider/Nylon animation for the seconds. There's some criticism of the display for it fading at a straight on angle, but I can't say that I've found that to be a thing.

:like: Those large numbers should make it very easy to read.

Very easy indeed!

Yes, I watched a few review vids of it yesterday. Coincidentally, my new ana-digi G-Shock's display is waned/dimmed in a very similar way when looked at head-on, at least when the battery is not fully charged.  :dunno: I love the beige (khaki?) version of the AE-1600H, but I will have to try it on before buying, I have a feeling it could be too large for my twiggy wrist. Here's me trying on its predecessor, the similarly sized AE-1500...

I'm still sporting the GD-400-1. Seems I'm hell-bent on being inseparably linked to this watch. And I need to get it off that smurfing DST setting.

The battery got so low on my old CASIO that you couldn't set the time, see the light, or change from EST to DST.  It still worked for years in spite of all that.  A new battery fixed it, of course.  It had been several years that I hadn't been able to change settings, and it was hard to figure out how to do all that stuff again.  I did find my old manual for it and got everything straightened out.  After a while.  Even reading the manual, I had to piddle and tinker with the thing.
There are worse things than having a spare G-Shock in your drawer.  Best wishes.  Gary

The khaki is very nice looking Rodia, I've popped the khaki AE-1600 onto a watch list for later consideration.

I just measured my own wrist which comes in at a beefy six and a half inches (  ). I wore the AE-1600 all day yesterday and it was comfortable

I've always had a weakness for bullbars but somehow I've never owned a watch with them.

6.75" here. There, we've got it behind us!  :D
To be fair, even that AE-1500 doesn't look that monstrous on my wrist in the pic, given that it's optically even bigger than in reality from that angle. The AE-1600 looks absolutely fine on yours.

 Someone once likened BullBars on a G-Shock to a helmet on a helmet. Sure, they offer little (if any) in the way of additional protection, but they look pretty cool. At least I think they do.

They do. Now we wait till someone comes up with snorkels for G-Shocks. ;)

The Royale had some company on the trip up for today's CT scan.

And before anyone asks, no trace if a brain found

My Royale (in black) somewhere on a shelf, my Zebra F-301 in the pen holder, my Vic Pioneer (in orange) in a drawer... I can't help but notice similar tastes in gear. I don't think I have an Olight, though. :dunno: I hope your scan went on fine.

The (still newish) AWG-M100 only gets off the wrist for jogs for now, today is no different:

I'll hopefully get the scan results when I see the oncologist on Thursday.

It's hard to beat a M1961 in one form or another ( I'm carrying a KL89 DAKtoday), but that was ne being cautious with the alox Companion. The Zebra is a bit of class. As an old friend would gave said its working class decadence.

Is there any chance of a photo of your AWG-M100 in daylight?

As in more daylight than on the previous page? I'll try tomorrow if there's any blue in the sky.

In case anyone considers going for one of that series, you might want to read more about my purchase, as it wasn't a simple buy & enjoy. I posted that on my 'mother' watch forum, I hope it's not against the MTo's rules to link to there. You don't have to be a registered user to see that post, so if interested, click here.
