Extremely cool!

It kind of reminds me of those transformer watches from the 80's!

Chronoform or something?

Extremely cool even if it doesn't transform!

Thanks y'awl.  I have a soft heart for all the old Casios as I really liked them as kid but I didn't want to ask my parents to buy me one as I knew money was tight.  I still remember when my parents gifted me my first Casio calculator watch.  They told me not to use it for cheating on math tests.

Funny you mention transformer watch as that was the first watch I was gifted by my aunt.  It looked like this one though mine's long gone now.

I desperately wanted one of those when I was a kid.  I eventually got one for a birthday or Christmas or something.  It was the coolest.

Now they can be had brand new in box (old stock apparently) on eBay for about $100.

Not that I looked them up last night or anything.....

Citizen "Pilot" watch today, has been a solid companion for about 8 years now just needed the original leather band to be swapped out after getting quite a bit worse for wear.

None.

I was sitting out back this afternoon and the band decided to break.

I cussed out so much that I think that the neighbors heard me.

I'm glad that it happened before our upcoming cruise in May.

I hate it when that happens.  I hope you didn't lose the watch?

That is one of the reasons I often go with NATO straps these days- you have twice as many chances of keeping your watch if it comes off the strap.

Of course many watches nowadays (like smart watches) require the back to be open so that isn't always an option.

Nice Eco-Drive!

I will only wear a nato style strap anymore due to multiple cases where a pin broke loose.
I knew my wife was a keeper when she transitioned from calling it a knife thingy to a multi-tool.

That's a nice variation on the B-Uhr!

Talk about a silver lining!

Me, coincidentally, fitting into both the themes:

SNK803 on a new NATO after I discarded a ruthlessly worn out Marine Nationale style strap today. (I generally prefer the MN-style to NATO, though).

Wittnauer pocket watch today.

Beautiful — I love seeing the pocket watches. Could you do a close up of the fob when you get a chance? The Harley pocket watch is very cool, too.

This one had a loooong break. First ran out of batteries and when I was changing them I noticed one button wasn't properly bouncy. And so, hasty as I am, I took it for repair some 6-7 years later. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Casio Outgear AMW-707. :hatsoff:

I did go back to an Apple Watch, I had 5 Years ago allready an 41 mm Series 4 which was quite cool until it’s did got issues whit the Batterie Runtime so I did change to an Garmin Instinct 2 Solar which got runtimes which where not to count in Hours but in weeks,
Was basically an G-Shock whit some smarsmurfch Features

But a few weeks ago I did decide to get me the Series 11 in 46mm whit a few Wristbands for every usecase and I’m quite happy whit it

I switched things up, I must say it’s nice having the longer band, and I found that pad/backing, it fits but with that band it’s tight on it, it took some working but I got it on,, must say pretty comfy!

One from the beginnings of my watch adventures 15-16 years ago and my first solar, I think. I let it go for some silly reason, then regretted. I like it on the bund strap!
