Awesome writeup Poncho... err or is it Philip? So glad you and your family had fun today meeting the Man... Loved how Tim is taking an interest to your modded Rebar... and how the skeletool has a new story to tell...

I wish he can come down here to Indonesia...

It was actually a couple different threads ;)

First one here shows the scissor mod :tu:

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,67409.0.html

This thread was done by SteveC and the diamond file is the one in my Rebar

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,67481.0.html

and this is my clip thread in the first link but I didn't realize Zoid and a few others had already accomplished this as well so I will at least add his thread as well so you can check it out :tu:

Mine

http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,67999.0.html

Zoid's and also his thread has links to another Rebar clip mod

Is no one else wondering how this nickname came about?

I will give you a couple hints it involved eating some Hispanic food (something you should never do before running), lots of running at football practice :D the fact that I tan very well and that jocks have a skewed sense of humor towards freshman :ahhh Now you do the math :pok: :D

It's probably unlikely he'd come this way as no knife/MT type shows happen here :(

I wonder if he would sign a SAK, or a Gerber, or a SOG etc.    That would make a seriously unusual and collectible tool :)

When I showed him the tiger striped TTi and told him that the coating used was virtually indestructible he immediately grabbed the head of product development and dragged him over to see it!

Tim loves seeing what people have done to their tools, and I imagine he probably would sign a different branded tool if you asked.  He seems like he appreciates people who are excited about tools more than what tool it is specifically.
