I would have to say my Leatherman Charge TTi would be one of my favorite EDC. For workI like a Surge.

My favorite tool is the Leatherman Signal. It is a great size to carry in your pocket and also has the other alternative ways of carrying it. A great tool for general purpose.

  You mean making a Leatherman tool designed for the tasks that you need it for? It should not matter. Name one multitool that had everything you needed in yor daily tasks without having to customize it to some degree. We customize our bikes, trikes, automobiles, the house/trailer, why should a tool be any different?

  And to get technical... Leatherman stated they NEVER customize (modify) tools. Well, they did for Dave Cantebury and took a video of it. Think his warranty was voided?  ;)

My Leatherman Micra is favorite because it is so small.  I've had this on my keychain for over 15 years and it still looks new.

This is the as yet unused warranty replacement for my much beloved Super Tool 300, which I originally got in October 2009 and beat the snot out of for four years of daily carry. This one stays in the bag in my trunk.
