I had a great conversation with Sal Glesser. It was such an honor to meet him! I'm one of his biggest fans, we talked for about 30 minutes. When we ended, he reached into his pocket and  gave me a Spyderco challenge coin.

He's a class act! So kind and funny. Made my day is an understatement.

Cool man, cool coin! Sal actually sent me one of the early Paramilitary folders that I won over at Bladeforums more than a decade ago. Unfortunately, I lost that Spydie after a challenging mountain trek.

I hope someday I also get to meet him, Tim Leatherman and other heroes

Sal is such a gentleman, excellent  EO and great person to meet, my conversations with him have always been fun, clever and really inspiring.
He is such a great designer and a nice, sensible person. I envy you and I'd love to meet him one day!
