Ponch,
If at the end of the month you just can't handle it any more, you can always drop it off on my front porch.
I promise I won't turn you in to the MTO authorities...  :pok: :pok:

I am the authorities  :D

I have had it this long and not used it much so I think I can handle going back to not using it much :D ::)

Day 7 Remembering one of my pet peeves of the Swisstool  I keep very short fingernails and I have trouble sometimes getting some of the tools out of the Swisstool :bnghd: I never have this problem with my LM due to either OHO or easier to get at nail nicks and tool clumping ::) :D So there is a strike for the Swisstool :D

This is why I sold my SwissTool , LM's are much easier to open  ;)

Day EIGHT
The start of a different kind of tune-up:

Not my typical, but had to do something with the refugee from a party.
The cap lifter works as well as all the other Vic versions, which is to say, "Excellently."

I just ordered my third BO Swisstool on eBay, but when the package arrived it was empty.  The seller says he will refund the money.  It was a beat-up user, but still . . .   .

Pro tip:  when mailing envelopes and boxes, entomb them in packing tape like a mummy so they are 100% secure from unintentional failure.

Sorry to hear it was lost PN :-\ Glad you got your money back and hopefully the seller had some kind of insurance on it :salute: but yes it is better to overpack

Won't have any true action shots for a few days.  Hanging around the hospital while my Dad has a spinal fusion surgery today,  then helping out around the house for the weekend.

Really want some BO myself,  just have not found any I can afford at this time.

Yeah, you have to pay a premium for those suckers.  Maybe they are not objectively "worth" what they are going for, but sometimes you just have to hold your nose, pay the price and cry a little.  After its all over, you have a sweet BO Swisstool to play with.   But yeah, they are too expensive.

Had fun cutting wire today with the SwissTool. One new minor complaint is the  small wire cutter portion. But, other than that, they cut fairly well. :)
No action shot today. Top of a 12' ladder, I didn't think to take a pic of cutting wire. :P But, the ST got a clean when I got home, as well as it's friends that got wet in the rain.

Day NINE
Been battling the gas oven which is not a great course of action.
So when she finally wouldn't heat, out came St. Vic. It really showed the benefit of having a long phillips driver.

And here is the offending bake igniter:

Oh no, sir. I had ordered and received the part a week ago. Oven is fixed. Turns on in 40 seconds like it should instead of 5 minutes with a WHOOSH! of gas. (That's the dangerous part.) I just had to wait for the missus to not be USING the oven at a time convenient for me to effect the repair. As a bonus I got the light working too by cleaning the slightly corroded contacts.

That's what I do for a living on the commercial side.  ST  :SAKnight:  and I have to do it at 400*F with people cooking and serving all around us.  :bnghd: :bnghd:

Powernoodle Day 10

One of our specialties at Powernoodle Gardens is Lycoris squamigera.  A member of the amaryllis family, Lycoris squamigera takes only 4-5 days from first emergence from the earth to full bloom.  This speedy plant has thus taken on the names surprise lily, resurrection lily, magic lily and naked lady.
