I'm thinkin about getting a dedicated folder to EDC along with me, and I've narrowed the search down a bit.  Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience with these knives.

-CRKT Mini My Tighe
-Kershaw Scallion
-CRKT Pharoah

Thanks for the input guys!

I'd go for the Kershaw just on looks and blade shape alone.  The CRKT stuff looks too spacey for me.

Another line of knives you might want to look into are the Leatherman knives..

I use to own a scallion, nice knife but too small for my hands. I currently own a Mini My Tighe, it's a nice knife that holds a decent edge for AUS8. Outburst has it's says, works great all the time but sometime I like and others I just want a framlock without the spring assist. It's comfortable and it's very user friendly. The only thing that turns me off on this knife is it had a funny clip, it works ok but I think the clip is too small for the knife and I have a hard time reattaching the knife after I am done using it...

OK that's my .02

Personnelly I'd steer clear of CRKT as they seem to make there blades with cheese, as the ones I've had if you so much as looked at them, they'd blunt >:(
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

I might save up and get a benchmade rift...that knife is just awesome in every way.

If not, I might go with the Kershaw Leek then, similar to the chive but a bit bigger.

Have you looked at spyderco? Very high quality knives with great steel, but their design is pretty much love/hate.
